Sportsmanship vs Bad & Unsporting Behaviour

One of the aims of GYSL is to help the children understand the rules of soccer and
to enjoy the game for its own sake, with proper consideration for fairness, ethics, respect
and a strong sense of fellowship with one's team mates and competitors.

Being a "good sport" involves being a "good winner" as well as being a "good loser".

Please support the coaches by ensuring that your children understand that we
absolutely do not want to see bad or unsporting behaviour on the soccer pitch.

For instance, swearing or violence will absolutely not be tolerated!
If coaches encounter this sort of unacceptable behaviour,
they can send the children off the pitch to the “sinbin”.

We expect & appreciate the support of all parents in this.
